Shop wants cash point

A CASH machine could be installed at a shop in Sonning Common.

A CASH machine could be installed at a shop in Sonning Common.

The Co-operative store in Wood Lane has applied to have the device and illuminated signage on the front of the store to the right of the entrance.

Plans for another cash machine at the neighbouring village hall were approved in March but the device has not yet been installed.

In February, the cash machine at the former NatWest bank in Peppard Road was badly damaged in a robbery.

Sonning Common Parish Council will discuss the  Co-op’s application next month.
