A DRIVER has branded the road surface in Gravel Hill, Henley, “dreadful”.
David Palmer, of Swiss Farm, Henley, wrote a letter of complaint to town and county councillor David Nimmo Smith.
He said: “Can you please tell me when some action will be taken?
“The bumps and undulations of this section of road shake the fillings out of your teeth and I hate to think how people with bad backs must suffer.
“Considering this is a main route both in and out of the town it must leave a lasting impression on our many visitors and not a good one.”
Cllr Nimmo Smith said he would asked the county council to review the condition of the road, adding that he agreed it was “not satisfactory”.
