Home appeal turned down

A MAN has lost his fight to build a house next to his current home.

A MAN has lost his fight to build a house next to his current home.

Peter Richardson, of Howe Hill, near Watlington, was refused planning permission by South Oxfordshire District Council so he appealed.

Now a planning inspector has upheld the decision.

The inspector said the development would affect road safety and its “modest” economic benefits would be outweighed by its “low levels of social and economic  sustainability”.
