A WATLINGTON parish councillor has resigned after almost two years in the post.

A WATLINGTON parish councillor has resigned after almost two years in the post.

Liz Winton was co-opted on to the council in April 2014.

Councillors voted overwhelmingly for her ahead of Keith Lovelace, who was then chairman of campaign group WATNEXT.

Mrs Winton lives in Court Close with her husband Andrew and three sons, Robert, Oliver and Harry, and has lived in the town for more than 14 years.
