DOG walkers are set to be warned again about letting their pets out on playing fields
DOG walkers are set to be warned again about letting their pets out on playing fields in Wargrave.
At a meeting of the parish council on Monday last week, Councillor Marion Pope said they should be reminded to use designated dog walking areas in the village so that the animals don’t cause a “nuisance”.
Cllr Pope said: “We are still having problems. There are signs but people don’t see them. They come in cars with their dogs and lots are visitors.
“It might be a good idea to get something out there for new residents who don’t realise we have a dog walking area. When you explain it to them they are quite happy to go there.
“We should also contact organisations who use the fields so they can inform dog walkers.”
