Housing roadshows

A SERIES of roadshows will take place to highlight potential development sites identified in Watlington’s neighbourhood plan.

The first will be held in the town hall tomorrow (Saturday) from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

There will then be two on Sunday — one in Windmill Piece from 11am to 12.30pm and the other in The Paddock from 2pm to 6pm.

The Fox and Hounds in Christmas Common will host an event on Monday from 6pm to 8pm and on Tuesday the roadshow will be at Marlbrook Green from 6pm to 8pm.

Two events will be held on Wednesday — from 4pm to 5.30pm in Pauls Way and from 6pm to 8pm in Spring Lane.

Watlington has been allocated 79 new homes to be built by 2027 under South Oxfordshire District Council’s core strategy but this figure is likely to rise.

A referendum on the plan is likely to be held in the spring.
