Players wanted

WARGRAVE Cricket Club, who will be hosting their first ever three-day Berkshire match against Cornwall in June, continue their preparations ahead of the new Thames Valley League season.

The club, who run three sides in the Thames Valley League, are seeking new players ahead of the new season.

In addition, the club runs a junior section including boys’ U7s to U19s and girls’ U12s, U14s and U16s sides which culminates in a busy Friday night at the club with all coaching provided by NR Cricket and assisted by the club’s qualified support coaches.

Before the season starts the club also runs indoor sessions for boys on Saturdays for U9s and U11s at Wargrave Piggott School from 1pm and for U13s and U15s on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm at Berkshire College of Agriculture. The girls will be starting at Wargrave Piggott on March 25 at 12.30pm.
