NO job is too big or small for Paul Harrison, it seems. The chairman of South Oxfordshire District Council told members of Henley’s traffic advisory committee that he might have to leave their meeting early due to another engagement. “I get all the glamorous jobs,” said Councillor Harrison. “I need to go at 11.15am as I need to open a toilet in Wallingford.” Councillor David Nimmo Smith asked: “How are you going to do that?” to which county council officer Keith Stenning replied: “You put 10p in.” As it happened, the meeting finished before the allotted time but as he left the town hall, Cllr Harrison whispered: “I was going to make a joke about leaving a deposit!”
