HENLEY DRAGONS impressed during round six of the BDA National League at Surrey Quays on Sunday.
The morning’s event comprised four lane racing over 200m with each crew competing in two heats, their aggregate times determining the start order for the finals.
Henley Dragons qualified for the major final and finished the morning’s racing in fourth place overall.
The afternoon followed the same format as the morning but over a distance of 350m.
Henley Dragons made it to the major final again where they met their premier division rivals and on this occasion Henley finished third behind Typhoon and Wraysbury and ahead of Amathus.
The combined results meant Henley finished the day in third place overall and top of the standard division for the sixth time this season, extending their lead over standard division rivals, St Neots.
