Learning squash

Learning squash
WHY not try squash this Easter holiday? It is a fast and exciting sport that can be played all year round.

Henley’s own junior squash club (www.henleysquash.co.uk) has more than 60 members playing from fun to national level. The club offers a programme of after-school coaching, junior leagues, turn-up-and-play sessions and fun tournaments.

The club is hosting taster sessions at Henley leisure centre on April 16 from 9.30am to 12.30pm (primary school pupils) and 1.30pm to 4.30pm (secondary school pupils). Expert tuition will be provided by head coach, Ross Gore.

Due to the generous support from Invesco Perpetual, the cost per child per session is only £5. Squash rackets and goggles will be provided. To reserve a place, email Ross at titansquash@gmail.com or call 07966 105754.

THE new councillor for Watlington on Oxfordshire County Council has pledged to look at the issue of heavy goods vehicles going through the town.
