Start the holiday with a “proper” craft fair

WHAT better way to start the holidays than with a visit to Crafts for Easter at Checkendon

WHAT better way to start the holidays than with a visit to Crafts for Easter at Checkendon

The fair will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29, so there will be plenty of time to pop over and be inspired by the outstanding display of original crafts.

All the items displayed will have been made by the stall-holder or their representative. There will be nothing “bought in” and no franchises. A proper craft fair.

Many of you will have visited our very successful Crafts for Christmas at the end of November. A lot of the same crafts will be there again but there will be some exciting new ones as well.

Crafts will include pottery, origami, glass, silver, felt, fabric, art, soap, woodwork and much more.

There will be a huge raffle with a star prize of a hamper full of goodies for Easter.

All the money raised from the raffle will go to Checkendon Brownies.

There will be mouth-watering refreshments provided by The Willow Group, a small local charity supporting parents of stillborn babies.

Make sure you come hungry to enjoy their bacon rolls and homemade cakes, as well as helping their valuable work.
