The countryside will come to life at fair

THE Thame Country Fair returns this Easter, bringing with it a feast of entertainment and activity

THE Thame Country Fair returns this Easter, bringing with it a feast of entertainment and activity from the countryside.

The countryside really does come to life with three main show arenas — including the new World of Dogs arena, where you will see exciting dog display teams, sheepdog and gundog displays, agility and much more.

A new act in the main arena is Stunt Mania — a motorcycle display team with Britain’s only female rider, lots of thrills and spills to entertain you here.

There are also lots of old favourites around the arenas, majestic birds of prey, shire horses and the electrifying horse boarding and scurry racing championships

Moving around the showground there’s all sorts of activities to attract your attention, including the falconry village with owl show and eagle show, the craft village, Food Glorious Food show with new chefs in the country kitchen — the Crabstock Boys, Andy and Adi, who are seafood specialists from Devon and Northampton.

With the new World of Dogs Arena with all things canine and the new Speed Shooting competition for airguns and pistols, you will have entertainment all day long. With such a diversity of attractions, there really is something for everyone, so come and enjoy.

The fair takes place on Sunday, March 27, and Monday, March 28, at the Thame Showground in Kingsey Road, Thame.

Opening hours are 10am to 6pm daily, with admission £13 for adults, £12 for over-65s and £4 for children.
