Kate Singeisen will work part-time at Beech Lodge School in Hurley after retiring from Claires Court School in Maidenhead.

Beech Lodge, a small, independent charitable school, was set up in 2013 by Daniela Shanley, whose son was taught by Mrs Singeisen.

She said: “It was Katy who set me on the road to starting the school. Our conversations led me to believe there was a need for school like Beech Lodge, a small school that could provide an alternative, nurturing environment to encourage emotional and social development.”
