New term is full of excitement

EXCITEMENT fills the corridors at the Oratory Prep School in September as the Michaelmas term starts and throughout the school old faces return and new faces join us to begin another activity-packed academic year.

This term alone the year eights perform Julius Caesar, the year seven girls have a pastoral trip to the Isle of Wight, the year fours experience Beardog Camp and we have the all-important school council elections. A Michaelmas term highlight!

As the new term begins we also wish our year eights from last year all the best in their chosen senior schools.

They achieved a total of 18 scholarships and other awards across a range of disciplines — befitting our identity as a school which aims to achieve all-round excellence.

We were of course sad to see them go, but happy that they have been well prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of them and, as they leave, a new group of children have joined our nursery, Little Oaks, to begin their own Oratory Prep journey.

If you would like to see for yourself what a vibrant, energetic and successful school the Oratory Prep School is, please join us at our open morning on Saturday, October 8, from 10am to 12.30pm.

We look forward to seeing you there.
