‘Small is beautiful’ for supportive school

AT Chiltern Edge we believe that, as the smallest secondary school in Oxfordshire/Reading, we are able to offer a unique and supportive learning environment.

This enables teachers to know their students individually and each young person to feel they can succeed and make their own contribution to school life.

Whatever your priorities, Chiltern Edge is a positive choice for your child. We offer:

• outstanding pastoral care

• a competitive academic curriculum

• a wide range of sporting/artistic extracurricular activities

• outstanding public speaking competitions.

We recognise the importance of an outward looking and culturally diverse education.

Community service is a key aspect of school life. Houses fundraise for their chosen charities and our nationally recognised anti-bullying team, the Power Group, demonstrates how Chiltern Edge students learn the importance of making a significant contribution to the world they want to grow up in. Our Amnesty International team were recently recognised nationally when they received the prestigious Marsh Award for outstanding human rights activism.

We are proud of our school and the achievements of our students, and we look forward to meeting you at our open evening on Wednesday, September 21, from 6.45pm to 9pm.

We also have two open mornings taking place on Tuesday, September 27, and Wednesday, September 28, both from 9.15am to 10.30am.
