Ten teams took part in Shiplake College’s touch rugby, beer festival and dog show. Three staff teams took on leavers from 2012, 2105, 2016 and the Eighties, parents, current pupils and a community side featuring Old Vikings. The Leavers 2016 II team (above), led by Jonnie Reed, won the final against the Staff Tall team. The beer festival featured a range of ales provided by Old Viking Alasdair Large, of Keystone Brewery. The parents’ assocation ran the dog show, which was judged by Aspen Weatherburn, of Henley dog groomers Naughy Mutt Nice, and won by Dory, a golden setter (right). There was also an inflatable bungee run, gladiator joustingm, a cake stall and barbecue while a raffle raised £115 for the sports tour fund which will help budding athletes take part in international tours. Prizes were donated by Lawrence Menswear in Henley, the Baskerville pub in Shiplake and Laithwaites Wines
