Open day at our village nursery

Open day at our village nursery

SHIPLAKE Village Nursery was established in 1966 and has since become part of the local community.

We are in a beautiful rural setting, close to the countryside.

We offer a friendly, nurturing environment for children to learn and thrive, with the focus being on
child-initiated learning. We take children from two and a half to school age.

Each child will have their own key person who will plan activities specifically to their individual needs.

We use a secure online system to monitor and record the children’s progress, photographs and much more. This gives parents instant access throughout the nursery day.

We have established a strong link with the local primary school which we visit regularly, easing the transition to school.

Our weekly activities include drama lessons, cooking, gardening, role play, creative experiences and woodland walks.

We have an experienced staff team who all hold a current DBS check, level three qualifications or above, first aid-trained and much more. The nursery was thrilled to receive a “good” Ofsted report in June 2016.

We will be holding an open day next Saturday (February 4) from 10am to 2pm if you would like to see what we have to offer your child.
