School pins a modern and innovative curriculum to traditional values
CRANFORD HOUSE is a small, thriving independent day school of about 400 pupils, educating boys aged two to seven and girls aged two to 16.
Acting headmistress, Mrs Lin Lawson, is very clear about its aim.
“The strong family feel to Cranford House motivates all pupils to achieve their full potential,” she says. “Our nurturing approach ensures they develop into happy, confident individuals, able to challenge themselves and each other, within an atmosphere of mutual respect and support.”
The modern, innovative curriculum of the junior school is firmly underpinned by traditional values. Class sizes are small to ensure individual attention and progression.
At Cranford House learning is fun, and form tutors, together with specialist teaching staff for Spanish, French, science, music, drama and sport, engage with pupils positively to encourage self-confidence, curiosity, independence and a sense of responsibility.
