CRANFORD HOUSE, a thriving independent day school, has appointed the first headmaster in its 83-year history.
Dr James Raymond follows in the footsteps of the six headmistresses that have led the school since it was founded in 1931.
He joins from Sheffield High School, part of the Girls’ Day School Trust network, and brings with him his wife, Kay, and their children Joseph, three, and eight-month-old Niamh.
He also brings a wealth of educational knowledge and a commitment to ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential.
This commitment to the individual pupil lies at the heart of a Cranford House education, which caters for girls aged two to 16 and boys aged two to seven.
