CHILDREN at Stoke Row Primary School hosted an exhibition of their writing at the village church.
All 76 pupils contributed a piece to the display as each year group submitted a story with a different theme together with illustrations.
The reception pupils were asked to imagine an alien had visited the village and describe their encounters with it.
Years 1 and 2 focused on the story of Little Red Riding Hood. They drew “wanted” posters for the Big Bad Wolf and came up with instructions for walking to Grandma’s house.
Years 3 and 4 wrote about a mouse called Harry Nibby who spent a week in Stoke Row. They made a cardboard car that looked like it was made of cheese and contained Harry’s house. They also produced a newspaper called the Cheesning Standard.
