Dancer teaches children how to do samba

CHILDREN at Badgemore Primary School in Henley have been taking dance lessons.

Instructor Anna Collett took a session with each class on Tuesday. She taught the children some samba-style moves as they performed to carnival music in the school hall.

Ms Collett, of Henley Road, Caversham, said the children were natural movers.

She said: “We did a little bit of basic samba and the little ones picked it up so quickly. They were so good.”

Ms Collett is a former professional dancer and spent six years in Spain as part of a review show. She moved back to Britain last year and runs Brazilian classes during the day and in the evenings at Henley leisure centre.
