A TEMPORARY site for a new free school in Caversham has been announced.
The Heights Primary School has agreed terms with Reading Borough Council for use of the old Caversham Nursery and will open in September.
It has also agreed the purchase of a permanent site within the catchment area and this location will be announced once contracts have been exchanged.
The site for the school’s temporary home, just off Gosbrook Road, will be used for up to two years while the permanent facilities are developed.
This will enable the council to offer reception-aged children places at The Heights on National Offer Day, Wednesday, April 16.
