Montessori pre-school goes full-time

DRAGONFLIES Montessori School offers high quality early years education for pre-school children from two years old. Lisa Drage, principal, and Niumai Hamilton-Peach, nursery manager are pleased to announce that from January the nursery will be open full-time from Monday to Friday during term time.

Dragonflies recently achieved MEAB (Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board) certification. The Montessori philosophy for teaching and developing young children encourages “learning by doing” using self-selected educational activities. Dragonflies combines this with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) national curriculum and is Ofsted registered.

In addition to a well-equipped classroom, the children regularly venture out and welcome visitors to reinforce their learning. A group of children took part in the Henley Youth Festival, and children and parents enjoyed a fantastic school sports day. Links with local schools and with the Children’s Centre are fostered ensuring the provision is accessible for all local children.

Please visit the school in action and meet the teachers on Tuesday, July 8 at 10am to 12 noon at the Christ Church Centre. If you would like an individual tour, please email.

Bookings are now open for September.
