A SCHOOL in Sonning Common for children with learning difficulties is celebrating the arrival of new play and learning equipment.
Bishopswood School has a new basket swing and two iPads thanks to a donation of £3,000 from the Rotary Club of Henley Bridge.
Three past presidents of the club, Peter Adnitt, Annie Lathaen and Mike Pooley, visited the school’s secondary site in Reades Lane to see the new equipment.
The iPads have learning software and games which help the children with their communication skills.
Headteacher Janet Kellett said: “The visual element of the iPads is very stimulating and motivating.
