A NURSERY at RAF Benson which was rated as “inadequate” last year by Ofsted has turned itself around.
Benson Children and Family Services, which is run by 4 Children from the purpose-built premises at the base, has now been rated “good” in all areas after its latest inspection in May.
Sue Skinner, who carried out the latest inspection, said that children felt safe and secure.
She said: “The manager and staff have a good understanding of their responsibilities regarding the safeguarding and welfare requirements.
“Robust systems are in place to check the suitability of staff to work with children. Staff have received appropriate training on paediatric first aid and safeguarding.
