PUPILS from Gillotts School in Henley visited Boulogne in France as part of their language studies.
They made pizzas, learned salsa dancing, played in a boules competition, watched a French film and were taught to play African drums.
The year 7 trip, which was themed around different experiences from around the world, ended with a visit to a chocolaterie.
Meanwhile, 32 boys and girls from year 8 at Gillotts went to the Mosel Valley in Germany.
They visited Bernkastel-Kues and Trier and the hillside castle at Cochem.
