Old and new give boys best of both worlds

MOULSFORD is an all-boys prep school with more than 320 pupils on the roll. Situated in 30 acres of grounds on the banks of the Thames, the school offers an outstanding academic, musical, sporting and cultural education underpinned by a vast range of extra-curricular activities.

The combination of our traditional prep school environment and the latest in modern technology provides the perfect environment for boys to grow up in.

Now regarded as one of the leading prep schools in the country, Moulsford has a new headmaster, Ben Beardmore-Gray, who moved to the school with his wife, Sarah, and their three children last month.

Ben, who grew up in Berkshire, was headmaster at Mowden Hall School in Northumberland for seven years before his appointment at Moulsford. Prior to that he was deputy headmaster at Farleigh in Hampshire and taught at Ludgrove in Berkshire.

At Moulsford boys begin their school life under the expert guidance of their teachers and learn to explore ideas and concepts and to think independently. With access to the full outdoor facilities that the school has to offer, pupils can explore the larger world outside their classroom, ensuring full development of their individual talents and abilities. This sense of exploration and adventure continues throughout a boy’s time at Moulsford.
