A very modern education for boys

AT Reading School, we are committed to providing an inspirational environment where our students are actively engaged in learning and optimistic that they can achieve.

We enable to develop leadership skills with an emphasis on integrity, teamwork and celebrating success.

As a school with a 900-year history of educating young men, we are not complacent. We aim for a fusion of intelligent innovation with a respect for tradition. Our partnerships with schools in China and Denmark enable us to learn from others in terms of both academic achievement and personal development.

As The Sunday Times State School of the Year 2010, Reading School supports students to achieve high academic standards and regularly features at the top of national league tables for exam results.

In 2013, 92 per cent of students gained grades A* to B at A-level. Seventeen students were accepted for Oxbridge and 17 went on to study a medical degree.
