THE well-appointed nursery at St Mary’s in Henley is a warm secure environment where dedicated staff care for children, acknowledging them all as individuals.
Independent from the main school building yet close enough for children to access all the main school facilities, it is complete with its own “outdoor classroom” space in which they are able to offer the children free flow and a broad choice of activities.
Excellent staffing levels with activities differentiated to the individual needs of the children ensure a secure start to the learning journey that carries children forward into the school.
The Early Years curriculum is delivered with emphasis on planning based around the children’s interests.
Music and French are also taught to the nursery children separately by qualified teaching staff from within the school.
