Exhibition pulls in large crowd

A RECORD number of parents, students and staff attended a three-day exhibition at The Henley College showcasing work of AS-level

A RECORD number of parents, students and staff attended a three-day exhibition at The Henley College showcasing work of AS-level students.

More than 120 people attended the opening night of the extended project which supports the students’ transition to higher education or the world of work. The display included artefacts, computer animations and performances from some of the college’s music students.

Principal Tom Espley said: “There were projects on an amazing array of subjects as well as some most impressive art. One student played the song he had composed and another showed off a wardrobe he had constructed. Congratulations to all.”

The students work independently on their projects to produce one final piece of work that can take the form of a dissertation, field study, performance or an artefact.
