BRIGHT World Guardianships is a company which acts in loco parentis for international students living in UK boarding schools and whose parents do not live in the UK. Students are allocated to a British host family which becomes part of the Bright World team and hosts the students during short holidays. some weekends and half-terms.

Welcoming a young person from another culture is an experience that everyone in the family will benefit from. It is an opportunity to find out more about the world, the chance to understand another person’s values and so much more. Bright World pays generous expenses to host families so it can be a useful source of extra income as well. Bright World expects all staff and volunteers to share their commitment to safeguarding children and families — all of our families agree to CRB checks and house inspections.
