Children have fun at induction day for new primary

CHILDREN who will be starting at the new Charvil Primary School in September attended an induction day at the Piggott

CHILDREN who will be starting at the new Charvil Primary School in September attended an induction day at the Piggott School in Wargrave. They were met by their teachers, some teaching assistants and a group of sixth-form helpers.Nineteen of the 27 starters attended and took part in activities such as making a picture frame to put their photos in when they start school. They also listened to a story, sang songs and made puppets connected to the story. The Piggott School will run the new primary after being given approval by Education Secretary Michael Gove.

The new school will accommodate 30 pupils at first, rising to 210 after seven years.
