Pre-school childen given send-off with farm animals

KIDMORE End Pre-School said goodbye to children by introducing them to farm animals.

KIDMORE End Pre-School said goodbye to children by introducing them to farm animals.

Thirty pupils, including 18 leavers, played with a Shetland pony, geese, rabbits, chicks, pygmy goats and ducklings in the field outside Hambleden village hall.

Mia Dent, from Farm 2 Ewe, talked to the children about the proper names for young farm animals and their food. There was also a picnic for the children and a presentation at which the leavers received an atlas.

Tara Gibbon, a parent who helped organise the event, said: “This is the first time we’ve done this and the children loved it. The pre-school had a theme this year of the animal kingdom so it fitted in with that.”

There are spaces left for the new term in September. For more information, email enquiries@keps.co.uk
