Cranford House’s new nursery building

AT Little Willows nursery school the staff want your child to have a wonderful start to their education.

AT Little Willows nursery school the staff want your child to have a wonderful start to their education.

Their philosophy is to help develop happy, inquisitive individuals with a strong sense of self-belief, motivation and kindness.

From September 2013 the nursery school operates from a new location called Little Willows, a mile down the road from the main Cranford House School site.

This new, large, purpose-designed nursery in a beautiful setting positively encourages indoor and outdoor learning through freeflow experiences, forest school, gardening and a wide range of activities.

The staff at Little Willows turn fun and play into valuable learning experiences.

Emotional stability is the key, allowing children to respond positively to challenges, to accept praise and to dare to “have a go”.

Regular visits, swimming and specialist teaching at Cranford House School also ensure easy progression through to reception.

The nursery takes boys and girls from the term in which they turn two.

Flexible sessions, extended hours, an expanded term-time curriculum and holiday care throughout the year are all available — all in a warmly nurturing environment, ensuring children and parents get the most out of this valuable “Early Years” period.

Visit the nursery on the open morning on Saturday, September 21, or contact the registrar Jean Simmons on (01491) 651218 to organise a personal tour.
