Pupils visit Mosel

PUPILS from Gillotts school in Henley set off to Mosel Valley for a week long school trip.

PUPILS from Gillotts school in Henley set off to Mosel Valley for a week long school trip.

A group of thirty three year eight students went on a trip with their teacher Mrs Davidson at the beginning of July. They stayed in a youth hostel in Traben Trarbach.

Highlights included a visit to Trier, the oldest Roman city in Germany, the ampitheatre and their boat trip on the Mosel to Bernkastl-Kues.

Mrs Davidson said “Mosel Valley offered great facilities in a beautiful setting” and praised her students for being “a really enthusiastic group” She had “the fantastic support of Mr. West and Miss Muscatello.”
