PUPILS at the Piggott School in Wargrave are to take part in a new national football tournament.

PUPILS at the Piggott School in Wargrave are to take part in a new national football tournament.

The PlayStation Schools’ Cup is a knockout competition that runs from now until May when the final takes place.

More than 2,000 schools and 100,000 children will take part.

The competition is run in conjunction with the English Schools Football Association whose previous programmes have involved boys who have gone on to become internationals, including Jermain Defoe, Michael Owen and Ryan Giggs.
