THE new headteacher of Kidmore End Primary School has vowed to “inspire” the children.

Linda Hull, who replaced Janet Maul in the summer, said she was looking forward to delivering the new national curriculum. She has been teaching in Oxfordshire for 15 years and has worked at five schools as well as being a leasing maths teacher for Oxfordshire County Council.

Mrs Hull, from Wallingford, was also an advanced skills teacher at Shiplake Primary School for “gifted and talented” pupils. She said: “My priority this year is to work with the whole school community to build on the outstanding practice already in place.

“I want to ensure the curriculum inspires, challenges and prepares children for a rapidly changing world where skills such as communication, leadership and problem-solving are key to success.”

The school has also welcomed two new teachers, Pauline Jones (year 5) and Alice Griffith (year 3).
