Nursery where every child is cared for as an individual

ST MARY’s well-appointed nursery is a warm, secure environment where dedicated staff care for children, acknowledging them all as individuals.

ST MARY’s well-appointed nursery is a warm, secure environment where dedicated staff care for children, acknowledging them all as individuals.

Independent from the main school building yet close enough for the children to access all the main school facilities, it is complete with its own “outdoor classroom” space in which the staff are able to offer the children free flow and a broad choice of activities.

Excellent staffing levels with activities differentiated to the individual needs of the children ensure a secure start to the learning journey that carries children forward into the school.

The Early Years Curriculum is delivered with emphasis on planning based around the children’s interests.

Music and French are also taught to the nursery children separately by qualified teaching staff from within the school.

Trips are also planned to further enhance teaching and add to the enjoyment of the nursery experience. Join them for their fun-filled afternoons.

Sessions are available from Monday to Friday, 12 noon until 3.30pm which include a cooked lunch.

Activities include the following:

Monday — Music Time

Tuesday — Messy Play

Wednesday — Physical Fun

Thursday — Cookery

Friday — Educational IT

They also have limited space in their morning sessions too.

If you are interested in your child attending a session, or you would like to book a personal tour, please call the school office on (01491) 573118.
