ABOUT 300 people attended the Nettlebed Christmas fair last Friday.

It was a joint event held at the primary school for its pupils and Happy Days Pre-School.

Father Christmas was in his grotto and groups of children took it in turns to see him and his elf, school secretary Tracy Sedwell.

Outside, there were two reindeers, Blizzard and Storm, who the children could meet and have their pictures taken with them.

Children also visited a “secret” present room which children could enter and choose presents for their parents.

There was also arts and ceafts activities, stalls and a raffle. Pizza was also served.

Mrs Sedwell said: “Primarily it was for the children and so we can share with them some of the magic of Christmas.”
