ST JOSEPH’S College is fast becoming Reading’s independent day school of choice for boys and girls aged three to 18, with numbers continuing to rise year on year.
Headmaster Andrew Colpus is dedicated to continuing the improvement of the school and has already made significant developments in the curriculum and pastoral structure within his first two years at the school.
This is evident in a recent Independent Schools Inspectorate Inspection. The six inspectors found that the curriculum “provides pupils with a rich learning experience” and noted that “teaching is effective in promoting pupils’ progress so they thrive in an encouraging atmosphere”. The school scored highly in other areas too, with inspectors commenting “the personal development of all pupils throughout the school is excellent” and “the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the pupils is excellent”.
There are several school bus routes serving Reading Station and the local area including Thatcham, Henley, Maidenhead and Caversham. There is also a late bus for pupils taking part in activities at the end of the school day.
The next open morning for prospective parents and pupils for early years, the prep school and the senior school is on Friday, January 30. To book a place call 0118 984 6910 or email email@example.com
