A happy and successful start

The Oratory Prep School is a school where children are both nurtured and achieve highly.

As well as our ?broad and stimulating curriculum?, the quality of our extracurricular provision was graded excellent by ISI inspectors who commented on the ?excellent programme of activities? and 2015 has got off to a flying start.

Our Year 6 pupils have already been to Paris and the Year 7s are gearing up for their trip to Rome. This is alongside the numerous workshops and trips to such places as the Natural History and Ashmolean Museums, which serve to enrich classroom learning.

The Lent term is also a term of preparation with an upcoming Year 3 Fun Day for children joining Year 3 next September and transition meetings with parents of our current Year 2 pupils as these children get ready to leave the Pre-Prep and move up to the Prep school.

Our Year 8 pupils are starting to think about their Common entrance exams as they prepare for the next phase of their studies at Senior School.

Little Oaks, which takes children from two years upwards, is full of busy little children happy in their play and all aspects of our early Years Foundation Stage provision ? in which the ?highly motivated? pupils were judged to ?make rapid progress? ? were also graded ?excellent?.

Our next Open Morning is on Saturday, March 7 from 10am to 12.30pm and you are warmly invited to join us and see what a vibrant, energetic and successful school the Oratory Prep is.
