PUPILS at Crazies Hill Primary School learned about road safety with a visit from expert Louis Taylor.
He held three 40-minute sessions with the children which included magic tricks, games, audience participation and a monkey puppet called Chadwick the Chimp.
Mr Taylor, from South Wales, started his schools road safety roadshow in 2002.
He said: “It’s about putting the road safety message in a fun way. If you say ‘do this’ or ‘don’t do this’ the children switch off.
“Sometimes I do classes of up to 150 children so it’s nice to come to a village school.”
Headteacher Eileen Holmes said Mr Taylor engaged the children, who were quickly laughing out loud while also taking in the serious message.
