PERFORMANCE Cricket was set up in 2006 to further enhance the opportunities for cricket development and performance in the area.

Directed and managed by former playing professional, Henley CC head coach and first XI player Chris Ellison, the programmes now cover a great deal of Berkshire and South Oxfordshire.

Chris Ellison is Berkshire’s only ECB level four-qualified coach and he leads a fantastic team of highly qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches.

They are all committed to excellence in coaching delivery in a wide variety of programmes including clubs, schools, one-to-one coaching and school holiday cricket camps and academies.

In 2012 Performance Cricket started their “Little Crickets” programme for three- to six-year-olds from their partner facility, Shiplake College. During the summer, sessions take place on a Sunday morning at local Henley Cricket Club and Kidmore End Cricket Club from 9.30am to 10.20am or 10.30am to 11.20am.

In the winter, sessions continue indoors at Shiplake College.
