Gillotts is a high performing, innovative school where every student is valued as an individual, and is supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.

We pride ourselves on being inclusive of all, developing academic achievers and individuals who make a positive contribution to society now and in their future lives.

When Ofsted last inspected us, they judged Gillotts to be a good school in every respect.

Standards continue to rise due to ongoing improvements in the quality of teaching and leadership.

The school’s motto ‘‘non nobis solum’’ — “not by ourselves alone’’ — lives strongly in students’ good behaviour, their commitment to one another and eagerness to achieve highly together.

These findings were backed up by the 2015 GCSE results.

This year, 74 per cent of students have achieved the benchmark of five or more passes at grade C and above, including English and mathematics.

This is the fourth consecutive year that our results have been above 70 per cent.

Gillotts is a popular school but vacancies do arise when families move out of the area. Contact the school to find out more or to arrange a visit.
