GILLOTTS School “student leaders” raising money for the the Pump Aid charity at the Henley Christmas Festival on Friday evening. They ran a bottle tombola and raffle — their first fund-raising activity — and raised £467. This will go towards their target of £3,000, which will pay for the installation of a pump to provide a rural African community with access to safe water. The venture has been initiated by Gillotts head boy Ieuan Price-Davies, head girl Olivia Vail and Pankhurst House captain Jack Broadbent and they are being supported by the school and their fellow student leaders who all helped at the stall
