Music for toddlers

A MUSIC group for toddlers has been launched in Watlington.

A MUSIC group for toddlers has been launched in Watlington.

Musical Mayhem offers drop-in sessions with a mix of traditional and original children’s songs with puppets, props, parachute games and percussion activities.

The classes feature live musical accompaniment on guitar, melodeon, ukulele and keyboard and are suitable for all children of pre-school age.

A free taster event for families with young children will be held at Watlington Pavilion on Wednesday, March 23 at 10am.

Musical Mayhem already runs classes in Chinnor, Princes Risborough and Haddenham.

Co-owner and musician Monica Nelson said: “We are very excited about launching a new group and we’re  looking forward to getting to know the little people of Watlington.

“Singing together is good for everyone’s health and taking babies and young children to an interactive music class can give their brain development and communication skills a big boost.”

From April 13, drop-in sessions will take place at Watlington Pavilion every Wednesday at 10am in term time.
