Final for Blue Coat boys

A TEAM of boys from Blue Coat School in Sonning has made it through to the national final of the Youth Speaks competition.

A TEAM of boys from Blue Coat School in Sonning has made it through to the national final of the Youth Speaks competition.

Ted Aplin, 12, from Henley, William Peters, 13, from Emmer Green, and Miles Edwards, 12, from Lower Shiplake, triumphed in the regional final in Marlow and will now compete for the title at Kirkham Grammar School in Preston on May 7.

They are the first intermediate team in the school’s history to secure a place in the final of the competition, which is organised by Rotary.
