Award for school

A TABLET computer is to be presented to the Piggott School in Wargrave to mark the 10th

A TABLET computer is to be presented to the Piggott School in Wargrave to mark the 10th anniversary of a workshop to promote safe driving among teenagers.

Wokingham Borough Council’s Safe Drive Stay Alive tour has been presented to more than 18,000 people across the Thames Valley since 2006.

To mark the milestone, the council is giving away 10 tablets to schools and colleges that have attended its talks.

The Piggott School has attended every year.

Wokingham Mayor Parry Batth will present the school with the tablet next Friday along with members of Safe Drive Stay Alive and the council’s road safety team.
