IT’S been a great start to 2016 for Godstowe Preparatory School. Outstanding results in the classroom and on the sports field, inspiring school trips and much more created a bustling spring term.

Girls in the upper part of the school (ages seven to 13) consistently achieve unrivalled academic results, despite Godstowe being a non-selective school. More than 40 senior school scholarships have been confirmed so far — a staggering amount we’re sure you’ll agree.

Meanwhile, outside the classroom, the U12 netball team won the Independent Association of Prep Schools regionals and went on to the national finals in Brighton, where they finished fourth in the country.

The U12s then went on to finish first and second in the district tournament, as did the U13s a week later.

The USA lacrosse squad — comprising 20 girls who embarked on the biannual USA lacrosse tour during the Easter holidays — finished in the top eight of 70 schools at the national schools lacrosse tournament. Godstowe’s cross-country runners have had a successful winter, particularly the year three team who have achieved gold medals in every fixture.

At Godstowe, there’s never a dull moment. Come and find out for yourself by visiting us on our next open day on Saturday, May 7, from 10am to 1pm.
