THE mobile library that visits Kidmore End Primary School will stop at the end of the summer term.

It is one of five mobile libraries across Oxfordshire being scrapped by the county council as it tries to make £69 million of savings over the next four years.

Headteacher Linda Hull said: “It’s disappointing because the children really enjoy the mobile library.

“They get a great deal out of choosing books themselves, chatting with the librarians and then enjoying the books with their families.”
